Build Your First Form
Add the form module, choose your fields, set where emails go and test it before visitors do.
Add the Form#
- In the Visual Builder, add the HappyDivi Form module. It starts with Name, Email and Message fields.
- Open the module and give it a Form Name under Form Settings. Only you see this name, in your entries and logs.
- Set the Submit Button Label.
Edit Your Fields#
Each field is its own Form Field child module. Drag to reorder, duplicate to copy, and click to edit its label, placeholder and whether it is required. Use Field Width to place fields side by side.
Set the Field ID early
Conditions and merge tags refer to a field by its ID. Choose a short ID, such as department, before you build rules on it.
Choose Where Emails Go#
Go to HappyDivi Form → Settings → Email and check the notification address. Free forms use these site-wide settings. Pro forms can also have their own notifications.
Test It#
- Publish the page and send a real test submission.
- Open HappyDivi Form → Entries. Your submission should be there.
- Open that entry. Its Notification History shows whether each email was sent.
Entries are saved first, so a mail problem never loses a message. If the email does not arrive, see Troubleshooting.
