Multi-Step Forms
Split a long form into steps, with a progress indicator and a review of answers before sending.
Pro feature
Multi-step forms needs HappyDivi Form Pro. On Free, the setting shows with a lock so you can see where it lives.
Add Steps#
- Add a Step Break field where each new step should start. Its label names that step.
- On the form module, set the First Step Title.
- Publish and go through the form yourself, including the errors.
Choose the Multi-Step Settings#
| Setting | Options |
|---|---|
| Progress Indicator | Progress Bar, Numbered Circles, Dots, Tabs, Percentage or None |
| Step Navigation | Completed steps only, Any step or Disabled |
| Scroll On Step Change | Scrolls the form back into view on each step |
Each step is validated before the visitor can continue.
Skip a Step#
A Step Break has its own conditional logic. If its rule hides the step, the visitor skips it.
Let Visitors Review Their Answers#
Add an Answer Summary field to the last step. It lists the answers by step, with an Edit link on each row.
