Divi Statistics 2026: Plugins, Site Types and Hosting Across 165,092 Divi Sites

The study starts from 229,498 domains whose home pages HTTP Archive's technology detection had flagged as Divi in its September 2026 crawl. They are Divi candidates, not a random sample of the web, which is why most of them turned out to run Divi. Each was fetched and tested again by HappyDivi for WordPress, the Divi theme (including child themes) and the Divi generation. Only sites with a confirmed Divi 4 or Divi 5 generation are analysed. 14,203 Divi sites with no readable version and 2,150 with an implausible version string were set aside rather than guessed.

In a second stage (13 to 15 October 2026) every confirmed Divi site was visited again to record every plugin folder, SEO and caching signature and generator tag in its page source. 156,778 sites (95.0%) responded and are the base for every plugin percentage below; the rest could not be reached.

So this is a study of what Divi sites run, not a count of every Divi site. Trackers that try to count the whole web, such as BuiltWith, report totals in the millions; they measure something different.

In this report Divi 4 vs Divi 5 is used only as a filter. Every other finding describes Divi sites as a whole, with the split shown where it differs.

Across the 156,778 sites in the plugin scan, SEO plugins are the most widespread family, followed by third-party Divi add-ons, analytics, caching and forms. A site counts once per family, however many plugins of that family it runs.

60.3% of Divi sites run an SEO plugin. Yoast SEO is on 47.1%, roughly one Divi site in two; Rank Math is more common on Divi 5 sites (8.4% of Divi 5 sites vs 6.3% of Divi 4).

30.0% of Divi sites run a caching or performance plugin, led by WP Rocket (12.0%). This is a floor: caching done by the host at server level leaves no plugin trace. LiteSpeed Cache is almost twice as common on Divi 5 sites (5.7% of Divi 5 sites vs 2.9% of Divi 4), in line with LiteSpeed servers being more common there (section 5).

27.9% of Divi sites use a dedicated form plugin, either instead of or alongside Divi's built-in contact form module.

More than one in four Divi sites adds a separate form plugin, and the leader, Contact Form 7, was never built for Divi. That gap is why we made HappyDivi Form, a form builder that works inside the Divi 5 builder itself.

Site Kit by Google leads, and is more common on Divi 5 sites (28.3% vs 22.0%), possibly because newer or rebuilt sites favour Google's official plugin.

24.6% of Divi sites show a consent banner from a plugin. Complianz leads and is more common on Divi 5 sites (11.5% of Divi 5 sites vs 8.7% of Divi 4).

WPML runs on 5.0% of Divi sites, GTranslate on 3.0% and TranslatePress on 1.1%. WooCommerce runs on 17.4% (27,258 sites), at almost the same rate on Divi 4 (17.4%) and Divi 5 (17.8%); most other e-commerce plugins we found are WooCommerce extensions. Dedicated security and anti-spam plugins are far less common (7.4%), led by honeypot and zero-spam plugins (3.6%) and CleanTalk (1.8%).

46.5% of Divi sites (72,882) use at least one third-party Divi plugin or module pack; 1,429 different plugin folders were found. Most of those sites use one: 38,888 run exactly one, 19,248 run two and 14,746 run three or more. Elegant Themes' own plugins are not counted here; they are covered below.

What stands out. Divi Supreme Modules (free and Pro combined) is the clear leader, and Popups for Divi is the most-used single-purpose add-on, at 8.3%. Divi Essential is relatively more common on Divi 5 (1.9% of Divi 5 sites vs 1.5% of Divi 4). Dg Divi Carousel, WOW Carousel for Divi, Divi Booster and Divi Machine are noticeably rarer on Divi 5, which may reflect add-ons still catching up with the new builder.

The scan also records the class on every Divi module, so for the 7 biggest module packs we can see which modules appear on Divi sites. Icon List from Divi Supreme Modules is the most common third-party module, on 3,210 of the 156,778 sites in the plugin scan (2.05%), and carousels, buttons and menus fill most of the top 10.

Inside each pack. Divi Supreme Modules: Icon List (16.0% of its sites); Divi Pixel: Carousel (24.2% of its sites); Divi Plus: Button (10.7% of its sites); Addons for Divi: Logo Carousel (17.1% of its sites); WOW Carousel for Divi: Logo Carousel (25.0% of its sites); DiviFlash: Advanced Menu (22.0% of its sites); Divi Essential: Logo Carousel (12.4% of its sites). These are modules seen on the scanned pages: Divi 4 sites were read on the home page only, so header and footer modules such as menus count more, and modules used only on inner pages are missed.

Plugins made by Elegant Themes are left out of the third-party count above, but 6.6% of Divi sites (10,317) run at least one. Monarch, the social sharing plugin, is the most common (4.6%), then Bloom (1.2%). Divi Dash, the site manager, was found on 488 sites (0.31%); it works mostly from the dashboard, so it leaves few traces on public pages and this is a floor. The separate Divi Builder plugin is on 129 sites: every site in this study runs the Divi theme, which already includes the builder, so sites using the plugin with another theme are not counted here.

Healthcare alone accounts for roughly one site in six. Healthcare, Hospitality & Food, Nonprofit & Community and Retail / E-commerce together make up about 46% of categorised Divi sites: organisations that need a credible brochure site with a clear way to get in touch.

The long tail is wide. Nonprofit / Charity, Restaurant / Cafe, School / University, Auto Repair / Mechanic and Hotel / Lodging lead, while Dental Clinic, Medical Clinic / Doctor's Office, Veterinary and Mental Health / Counseling together form a large healthcare block.

Plugin use follows the business model. 58% of Retail / E-commerce sites run WooCommerce, versus 11% of Healthcare sites. Form plugins are most common among Home Services / Trades (36%), Manufacturing & Industrial (35%) and Logistics & Freight (35%). Technology sites have the highest third-party Divi add-on use (58%).

We recorded the hosting platform or server software each site exposes in its HTTP response (all 165,092 Divi sites). Most sites reveal only their web server (Apache, Nginx, LiteSpeed) or sit behind a CDN, so this is best read as the server stack, not a verified hosting company. Managed WordPress hosts that identify themselves (WP Engine, Kinsta) are the exception.

Apache (29.8%) and Nginx (20.7%) account for half of all Divi sites. LiteSpeed is third (16.1%) and more common on Divi 5 sites (19.7%) than Divi 4 (15.8%); Cloudflare shows the same pattern (14.9% vs 12.0%). WP Engine hosts 7.3% of Divi sites but only 4.8% of Divi 5 sites. Among sites where a stack was identified, WP Engine and Kinsta together account for 10.0%.

• Detection is not installation. Plugins are identified from public page source: plugin folders, SEO and caching comments and generator tags. Plugins that leave no front-end trace are invisible, so every plugin percentage is a floor. Caching and security done by the host are largely undetectable.
• Base for plugin percentages. They are shares of the 156,778 Divi sites that responded to the plugin scan, not of all 165,092 identified. Sites that blocked it or timed out are left out.
• Divi 5 sites were read on more pages. Divi 5 add-ons load their files only on pages that use them, so for 11,593 Divi 5 sites we read up to two inner pages as well as the home page; Divi 4 sites were read on the home page. Form plugins gain most from this (about 3 points on Divi 5); every other family gains 1.1 points or less. Read Divi 4 vs Divi 5 form-plugin comparisons with that in mind.
• Catalogue coverage. The plugin families cover the most common products in each field. Third-party Divi plugins are recognised by plugin folder: a folder with "divi" in its name, or a known Divi add-on folder without it. That also counts plugins made for a single site, which is why the full list shows only plugins found on at least 100 sites.
• The seed list is a sample of Divi candidates, not the whole web. It holds the sites HTTP Archive flagged as Divi, so Divi sites its detection missed are not in the study, and its crawl leans toward sites that are reasonably popular and publicly linked.
• Business categories are model-assisted. Categories come from a layered classifier (keyword rules, embeddings, then a local LLM). Of the 43,095 categorised sites, 20,669 were decided by the LLM, 20,481 by embeddings and 1,945 by rules. Embedding results are lower-confidence. Restricting to LLM-decided sites shifts some shares (for example Retail / E-commerce 12.4% vs 8.3% overall), so treat category ranks as indicative until the full run completes.
• Categories cover part of the study so far. 62,558 sites have been classified. Their Divi 4 / Divi 5 split matches the plugin scan (7.4% of categorised sites run Divi 5, vs 7.6% overall), but category shares may still move as the rest are classified.
• Modules are counted from the scanned pages. A module counts on a site when its class is in the page and the pack's plugin folder was found. Classes for settings and child items are not counted as modules. Divi's own modules are not recorded.
• Version labels. "Divi 4" means Divi 4 or earlier. Divi 5 follows the same theme version line, so the generation comes from the detected major version.

Finding Divi sites (September 2026 crawl). The seed list is the home pages HTTP Archive's technology detection labelled Divi in that crawl. Each domain was fetched, with the home page and common contact pages checked. Regular expressions on the returned HTML and response headers identified WordPress (generator tags and asset paths), Divi (theme paths and builder markers), the Divi generation and the server stack.

Plugin scan (13 to 15 October 2026). Every confirmed Divi site was fetched again: the home page, plus up to two inner pages for Divi 5 sites. Every plugin folder referenced in the page source was recorded, along with SEO and caching signatures and generator tags, and matched against a catalogue of plugin families and Divi add-ons. The class on each Divi module wrapper was recorded too, which gives the add-on module counts.

Categories. Visible page text goes through a rules, embeddings and local LLM (Qwen3 4B) pipeline against a fixed taxonomy of 16 categories and 79 observed subcategories. All figures in this article are aggregates; no individual site is identified.

Every aggregate table in this report, free to use with credit: the CSV tables, one JSON file with every figure and its base, and a README with the method. No individual website is included, and third-party Divi plugins are listed only when found on at least 100 sites.
