Our Story
Built by Divi Developers
for Divi Builders.
HappyDivi exists because we kept hitting the same wall on client sites: the official Divi modules covered the basics, and everything past the basics meant reaching for a shortcode plugin that never quite felt like it belonged in the builder. So we started building the missing pieces ourselves, one native Divi 5 module at a time.

Why We Exists
One module, done right. then the next.
HappyDivi started with a single, narrow frustration: Divi's built-in gallery options were either bloated with jQuery dependencies, inaccessible to keyboard users, or slow enough to cost real Core Web Vitals points. We set out to build one module done right, something that passes Lighthouse at 90+ out of the box, respects prefers-reduced-motion, and works on every WordPress host without configuration. That became HappyDivi Gallery.
Once it shipped, the same pattern kept showing up in a different corner of the builder: Divi's own Contact Form module sends one bare email and stores nothing, no entries, no validation worth the name, no way to take a payment. It was the same underlying problem, a first-party Divi feature stopping at "functional" instead of "good", so we built HappyDivi Form the same way: as a real Divi 5 module, not a shortcode bolted onto the side.
That's the actual founding idea, and it's bigger than either product: wherever Divi's own tools stop short, and the third-party options solve it by fighting the builder instead of joining it, that's a HappyDivi product waiting to be built.
Our editorial and update standard
Every feature we document is tested in a production-equivalent WordPress environment across major hosts (Cloudways, Kinsta, WP Engine, Local). Documentation is reviewed with every release, and marketing claims, including performance numbers, are re-verified on each major version bump. We maintain a public changelog per product, so you always know exactly what changed, when, and why.
Independent and focused
HappyDivi is an independent company. We are not affiliated with Elegant Themes, Divi, or any parent company, and we maintain full control over our own roadmap. We'd rather ship two products done properly than ten done halfway, every engineering hour goes into making the HappyDivi lineup faster, more accessible, and more reliable, product by product.
Our Story
What we stand for.
We turned down a lot of "easy" plugin ideas because they'd have meant shortcodes, iframes, or a settings page bolted onto the side of Divi instead of inside it.
Performance first
Zero jQuery across every product. Code-split JavaScript, server-side rendering where it matters, and a Lighthouse score you don't have to apologize for.
Real Divi 5 modules
Every product appears in the module panel with its own Content/Design/Advanced tabs and a live Visual Builder preview, never a shortcode wrapper.
Accessibility as a baseline
WCAG 2.1 AA is the minimum, not the aspiration, keyboard navigation, focus management, and prefers-reduced-motion support are built in from day one.
Privacy by design
No third-party tracking scripts embedded in your site. We collect only what's needed to operate and verify a license.
Transparent communication
A public changelog per product, honest marketing, and direct support, no chatbots, no deflection.>
Developer ergonomics
Hooks, filters, and CSS custom properties are documented on every product, so you can extend without hacking core files.
How we got here
From one module to a lineup.
The idea
After spending hours hunting for a Divi 5-compatible gallery that met modern performance standards and finding nothing, we started building our own internally.
Beta testing
A private beta with 40 Divi agency owners validated the concept. Performance benchmarks confirmed 90+ Lighthouse scores on production sites, and the feedback shaped the final feature set.

HappyDivi Form enters development
The same "why isn't this native yet" frustration, this time pointed at Divi's Contact Form module, stored entries, real validation, Stripe payments, and multi-provider email delivery, built the HappyDivi way.Product 2
Growing the lineup
We're expanding both existing products, video support and Divi 5 Global Presets for Gallery, multi-step forms and CRM integrations for Form, while keeping an eye out for the next place Divi's own tools stop short.
